Ergonomics

Our Consultants are highly experienced in completing Worksite Assessments and Ergonomic Assessments. These assessments can be provided as part of a return to work program or as a stand alone service.

Worksite Assessments assist in identifying the physical demands of an injured worker’s duties and in consultation with the medical practitioner, recommendations can be made with regards to modification to the duties and/or provision of equipment to assist the worker to be maintained at or return to work.

Ergonomic Assessments evaluate the interaction between the worker and his/her work environment, with a particular focus on identifying potential problems with workstation layout, furniture and equipment. Postural advice and education, combined with environmental changes can assist injured workers to undertake their duties in a safe manner, reducing the risk of further aggravation.
